Meet the narrator – Simon Vance

No sooner have I handed the completed manuscript over to audio book publishers Blackstone than I’m delighted to say they’ve appointed Simon Vance to narrate it.

Simon is probably the most popular, most respected British narrator in the audio book world.  He’s won more than 70 AudioFile Earphone awards and 17 Audie Awards, and he’s been inducted into the Audible Hall of Fame.

Among his vast oeuvre are all 14 of Ian Fleming’s iconic James Bond books, and some of John Gardner’s ‘continuation’ 007 novels.

He’s also recorded some very fine non-fiction works, most notably in my eyes Max Hasting’s Catastrophe 1914: Europe Goes to War.

I can think of no one better suited to narrate Whitney’s life than Simon, and I look forward to hearing him in action.
